The idea of the band came at a bar in Berlin where Herdís and Thelma discussed dreams and plans. They found out that they both wanted to form a band and sing and dance around the world. After that there was no turning back. They moved back to Iceland in January last year, in the coldest and darkest month of the year. They were both facing a path of uncertainty having recently graduated from art school. Meeting during weeknights at their old school, playing the piano and singing gave them so much joy that the idea of an actual band became more serious. Soon they moved from using the piano and voice to creating electronic tunes and released their first single last summer called “Lemonstars”.

The following fall Herdís moved to NYC to study film scoring. Thelma came to visit her during the fall where they finished composing a program for their concert at Iceland Airwaves. After a successful collaboration before and during Iceland Airwaves the third member Guðni joined the band. Since then the trio have been sending material across the Atlantic. The band reunited in May 2015 spending days and nights composing. The plan is to release the album in the autumn of 2015 in Reykjavik. With your support that could happen!
